Note Before We Begin:
Just joining us? I am Tracey founder of Luna Sage Letters and I created a free 7-day wellness reset for women who are stressed overwhelmed and running on empty — and then decided to do it myself and share every honest moment with you. Catch up on 👉 Day 1, 👉 Day 2, 👉 Day 3 and 👉 Day 4 and grab your free reset below to follow along! 🌙
Dear Lovely Soul,
I will be honest with you — I went into Day 5 resistant.
Cleaning was the last thing I wanted to do. I was tired. I had already been showing up for four days in a row and the idea of adding tidying to the list felt like one more thing on an already long day.
But I showed up anyway. And I am so glad I did.
Day 5 of the Luna Sage Reset asks you to clear one small area of your space. Not your whole house. Not a deep clean. Just one small area — slowly and lovingly.
I chose my bedroom.
And instead of rushing through it the way I usually would I did something different. I took my time. I moved slowly and mindfully through the space. I made my bed — properly, smoothly, intentionally. I cleared the surfaces. I put things away after I used them.
And something shifted.
Not in a dramatic way. Not in a life changing instant. Just quietly and gently — like a small exhale I did not know I was holding.
Having that one area organized felt good. Really good. And it made me realize something about myself that I want to share with you.
I am a minimalist at heart.
I do not like a lot of things around me. I am not interested in accumulating stuff — I am interested in experiences. In moments. In the feeling of a room that breathes rather than one that suffocates.
And order in my home reflects something deeper for me. It signals moments of order in my life. When my space is clear my mind follows. When my surfaces are tidy I feel more in control of my days. When I put things away after I use them I am telling myself — this matters. I matter.
Day 5 taught me three things I want you to carry with you:
🌙 You cannot think clearly in a cluttered space
🌙 Small acts of order are acts of self love
🌙 Experiences matter more than things
Going forward my space clearing commitment is simple:
🌿 Make my bed every morning with intention
🌿 Keep surfaces clear as my day goes on — use it, clean it, put it away
🌿 Clear one small area and then give myself 2-3 days to maintain that new order before moving on to the next
That last one is something I really want you to hear. So many of us try to declutter everything at once and then feel overwhelmed and give up. But what if you just started with one drawer? One surface? One corner of your bedroom?
And then — before you touch anything else — you lived in that newly organised space for a few days. You let it settle. You let yourself feel what it feels like to maintain something small before you take on something bigger.
A clear space is a gift you give yourself. Start with one small area and see how it feels.
Your home should feel like a sanctuary. And it can — one intentional act at a time. 🌿
If you are following along with the reset I would love to know what area you chose to clear. And if you have not grabbed your free Luna Sage Reset yet it is completely free and waiting for you below.
Come back tomorrow for Day 6 — we are nearly at the end and I have loved every honest moment of this journey with you.
Until Next Week:
Thank you for being here lovely. Day 5 reminded me that order in our spaces creates order in our minds — and that small intentional acts of care for our homes are really acts of care for ourselves. Day 6 is coming and it is one of my favorites. Come back and read along.
With much care,
Tracey
