Note Before We Begin: Just joining us? Welcome! I am Tracey founder of Luna Sage Letters and I created a free 7-day wellness reset for women who are stressed overwhelmed and running on empty — and then I decided to actually do it myself and share every honest moment with you. Dear Lovely Soul,
I am going to be honest with you — I went into Day 3 tired but willing. Which is probably the most relatable place most of us start from when it comes to movement.
Day 3 of the Luna Sage Reset is simple. Move gently. That is it.
No gym. No intense workout. No calorie counting. Just your body, moving in whatever way feels kind and doable today.
For me that looked like some gentle stretching and yoga — and honestly some light household movement too. Nothing dramatic. Nothing Instagram worthy. Just me showing up for my body in the smallest way I could manage.
And here is what I want you to know about that.
It counts.
I have been more sedentary than I would like lately. I have these big beautiful movement goals — beach walks, hikes, long mornings outside — but somehow they always feel just out of reach. Too far. Too much. Too ambitious for where I am right now.
Day 3 taught me something important about that.
The beach walk I keep dreaming about is not the place to start. The place to start is one minute of marching in place. Five minutes of stretching. A slow walk around the block. Movement so small it almost feels silly — but movement nonetheless.
Because here is the truth about teeny tiny goals — they work. Science backs it up and my body proved it on Day 3.
By the end of my short gentle session I felt two things that surprised me:
I felt proud for showing up even when I was tired.
And I felt hopeful — because small steps suddenly felt achievable in a way that big goals never quite do.
Day 3 also made me reflective in a way I did not expect. I realised how much I have been neglecting my body. Not from laziness — but from exhaustion, busyness and setting the bar so high that starting felt impossible.
So I am lowering the bar. All the way down to the floor if I need to.
My movement goal going forward is a short daily stretching routine. Nothing more. Just that. And on the days when even that feels like too much — one minute of movement. Any movement. Because even 5 minutes is better than none and even 1 minute counts more than zero.
Day 3 reminded me of three things I want to leave with you today:
🌙 Showing up imperfectly is still showing up 🌙 Gentle movement counts just as much as intense exercise 🌙 Starting small is better than not starting at all
And if you are sitting there right now feeling too tired to move — I hear you. I am you. But here is what I want you to remember:
Even 5 minutes of movement is better than none.
Start there. Just 5 minutes. Your body will thank you. 🌿

Until Next Week: Thank you for being here lovely. Day 3 was humbling and hopeful all at once — and I hope it reminded you that the smallest step forward still counts. Day 4 is coming and it is one of my favorites so far. Come back and read along.
