Dear Lovely Soul,
I am not going to lie to you — I went into Day 1 feeling stressed and overwhelmed. The kind of overwhelmed where you know you need to stop but your brain just will not let you.
Day 1 of the Luna Sage Reset is simple. Rest your body. That's it.
No complicated routine. No list of things to do. Just slow down and rest.
And honestly? That was harder than I expected.
The moment I gave myself permission to just slow down and do less I immediately started searching on my phone for games to play and social media to check. Busy had become my default setting and I hadn't even noticed.
My body needed rest but my mind resisted every single second of it. The guilt of doing nothing was real. I had genuinely forgotten what slowing down even felt like.
But here is what happened when I pushed through it anyway.
My mind eventually got quieter. Not straight away — it took a while. But slowly, in the spaces between the mental noise, something shifted. And by the end of Day 1 I felt calmer, more peaceful, and honestly — more like myself than I had in a long time.
I also realized something that stopped me in my tracks.
I had no idea how exhausted I actually was.
I had been running on empty for so long that it had started to feel normal. Using busyness to avoid how I was really feeling. Filling every quiet moment so I never had to sit with myself.
Day 1 taught me four things I want you to hear too:

And if you are someone who feels guilty about resting — I see you. I am you. But I want to remind you of something important.
You cannot pour from an empty cup.
Rest is not laziness. It is not something you have to earn. It is something your body and mind need to survive — and you deserve to give it to yourself without guilt.
Will I make rest a regular practice after Day 1? Honestly — yes, I am already looking forward to it. But I also know I will still have to fight the guilt every single time. And that's okay. That's why this is called a practice.
